Stump Grinding & Removal
Once you have had a tree removed and cut down to ground level, a stump will remain. Stump grinding is the most common method of stump removal.
In some cases after a treee is felled, the stump and root system are still alive and the tree can start to regrow from the stump. A stump grinder machine will grind the stump and exposed root systems down to below ground level with minimal upset of the area surrounding of the stump.
The stump and exposed roots are ground into shavings and turned back into the ground. When the job is completed, the shavings and soil are levelled over to restore the ground. This then allows you to replant or cover the area.
